Soraya Leila is a professional dancer and choreographer, currently part of the Master of Choreography at ZHdK in Zürich. She graduated from SEAD Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in 2017. Meanwhile she took part in the exchange program in 2016 of the New York University TISCH For The Arts (USA) and was invited to The Maslool in Tel Aviv (IL) in 2017 to present her diploma work from La Veronal/Marcos Morau. Since 2017, she performed with Humanhood, NEEDCOMPANY, Staatstheater Pforzheim as a guest artist, and still works for Alex Gottfab/Archipelago, Cie 7273 and Company Mafalda. Since 2011, she taught in various dance schools across Switzerland, Austria and Germany, from hobby classes to professional training as well as coaching teams for Swiss and European dance championships.

Class description
Open minded and dedicated, she believes as a dance teacher in sharing values such as positivity, self-observation and peer learning. Her classes offer a place to practice safely and generously while engaging in a genuine quality of work and following a progressive learning approach. Accompanied by a motivating and up beat music playlist, her exercises combine in a fluid, continuous motion contemporary dance principles and floor work.

Soraya Leila is also a certified 200hours Hatha Yoga teacher.
