Ballet Class for Adults with Angelina Fuchs
Welcome to a ballet class that combines passion, fun, and hard work in a welcoming environment. I’m Angelina Fuchs, born in Glattfelden, Zürich, and raised in the canton of Lucerne. My ballet journey began at a very young age when, as a toddler, I watched a pas de deux rehearsal and tried to copy the dancers while my father worked drawing ballerinas on the wall of a studio. From that moment on, I was hooked. I whispered to my dad, “Now I only am missing balletshoes,” and that’s how I got my first pair of balletshoes and my journey began.
From that moment, ballet became a constant in my life, alongside other styles like contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and even hip hop. At the of 15, I decided to fully dedicate myself to dance, pursuing my first formal education and later joining a junior company program where I was lucky to learn from some of the best teachers and choreographers in the field.
Class description
In my class, we focus on learning by doing with a sense of joy and pleasure. Ballet can always improve, and that’s the beauty of it. It never gets boring because there's always something new to reach for. But I also understand how challenging it can be at times. That’s why I always say: "If you’re not there yet, that’s perfectly fine. We’re here to learn and enjoy the process together." I want you to leave class with a smile on your face, feeling good about yourself and your progress.
The goal of my class is simple: to help you move, express, and enjoy the process of ballet training, so you can dance with confidence. Once we have that foundation, we can work on fine-tuning, perfecting, and reaching for even greater heights. The most important part is that you have fun, and when you do, everything else will fall into place. Come join me on this journey — whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer. Let's move, learn, and most of all, enjoy ballet!
