Michel Briand is a Commercial and Contemporary Dance Artist. Next to his work as a freelance artist, he works as a dance teacher for Commercial and Contemporary Dance.

He finished his dance education at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) in 2017 and he extended his dance studies to New York City (Tisch School of the Arts – New York University) and London (London Contemporary Dance School – The Place). Further more he studied Commercial and Jazz Dance in Zurich, Paris, London and New York City.

Michel has danced in various TV Productions, Hair Shows, Music Videos, Theatres & Opera Productions. He has worked for renowned choreographers such as Nici Grandison, Tiziana Cocca, Nadine Imboden, Grazia Covre, Deutsches Fernsehballet (Carla Oya, Agata Boguslawska, Ludwig Mond)

The Canton Valais (CH) rewarded Michel with the Cultural Advancement Award in 2018 and with a 6 months artist residency in Berlin in 2020.
