Nona Fragnière
Voguing // Yoga // Bend & Balance
I’m Nona Fragnière, and I bring a blend of dance, acrobatics, and movement skills to every class I teach. With 7 years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping you unlock your potential in flexibility, strength, and balance. I have 15 years of yoga practice and 10 years in aerial arts, which gives me a deep understanding of body mechanics, movement, and overall well-being. I’m also an active performer in the ballroom scene, with a focus on voguing where I incorporate elements of contortion into my performances.
My background includes 10 years as a gymnast, and I’ve taught at top studios across Zürich, including Tanzwerk101. I’ve led classes in yoga, choreography, and dance workouts. I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and have completed advanced training in contortion, handstands, and other movement practices. I’ve also participated in specialized workshops and intensive programs like Gaga for Dancers, Acro Yoga, and Aerial Hoop training. I’ve had the privilege of learning from renowned instructors like Rick Tjia from Cirque du Soleil, Dominik Lamovski, and Alexander Batuev, all of whom have greatly influenced my teaching style.
Some of My Achievements:
- First Place at the Swiss Championships 2022 in the Semi-Professional category for Artistic Aerial Hoop.
- Over 15 Grand Prizes in voguing from 2017 to 2023, showing my deep commitment to the art form.
- Certified Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training, enhancing my understanding of body mechanics, movement, and overall well-being.
- Specialized Training in contortion and handstands, including workshops with Alexander Batuev and ongoing practice at Zirkusquartier.
Whether your goal is to touch your toes, achieve a perfect split, or hold a handstand, Bend and Balance will help you reach your goals in a fun and supportive environment. Plus, it’ll boost your performance in other classes at Tanzwerk101. I truly love sharing and teaching, and it’s such a joy to see my students progress each week and leave the practice with happy, satisfied faces.
