House
House dance is a dance style that emerged in the late 70s and early 80s in underground clubs in Chicago and New York. The style was influenced by various types of movement, including tap, African dance, Latin American dance and martial arts. House dance is about freedom, improvisation and a feeling for the music. House dance consists of the elements of footwork and stomping. Floor elements, so-called floorworks and freestyles (free dancing) are also part of this dance style.
