Lindy Hop
This couple dance originated in New York at the end of the 1920s as a predecessor to boogie-woogie and rock'n'roll. In the early days, people danced to live music from the great big bands of Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. Lindy Hop is a very lively, improvisational and expressive couple dance, which the ladies can also actively participate in. A dance style that conveys pure joie de vivre and loves to play with improvisation. Lindy Hop always leaves you smiling and in a good mood!
